We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager – Modern Trade to manage and grow modern trade business across Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing key retail accounts, ensuring excellent in-store execution, and achieving business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
- Manage relationships with modern trade chains and key accounts.
- Ensure product availability, visibility, merchandising, and promotional execution across stores.
- Coordinate with distributors, merchandisers, and internal teams for smooth operations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance.
- Lead and guide field sales teams to improve productivity and coverage.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in FMCG/Consumer Goods sales.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in handling Modern Trade accounts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of the Mumbai retail market.
