Job description:

 
  • Finding and sourcing Overseas Vendors/Suppliers through various sources to develop new business.
  • Collaborating with Vendors, Suppliers & Stakeholders while keeping them informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all requirements and deliverables.
  • Developing potential suppliers for achieving cost effectiveness.
  • Negotiate the freight quotes with overseas & local agents to minimize costs.
  • Managing a Wide Portfolio of Vendors, with Constant Quote Solicitation.
  • Raising Purchase Requisitions.
  • Interaction with Customs Clearing Agents, Forwarders Liasoning Between Factory Staff and Suppliers to Ensure Timely delivery, Quality, Payment.
  • Preparing Purchase MIS, updating a Log of all Purchase Activities and Presenting Purchase Data to Different Departments.
  • Continuous Monitoring of Import Shipment.
  • Follow Up with CHA, Forwarders for Smooth Clearance of Import Consignment.
  • Freight Clearing Agent Bills Checking and Forwarding to Finance Dept. for payment Processing.
  • Knowledge of Licenses Clearance.
  • Clearance of Import Shipment from Customs within Agreed Time.
  • Responsible for Import Documentation.
  •  Sound Knowledge of Commercials.
  • Communicating with Overseas Suppliers.
  • Handling LC against export shipment & submit LC documents to Bank for follow up.
  • Preparing all Formal Documentation in order to fulfill aforementioned responsibilities.
  • Communicate with shippers for scheduling of shipments and related documentation work.
  • Knowledge and Experience in Internal Import Policy.

 
Desire Candidate Profile:
 
  • Should have At Least 4-8 Years of Work Experience.
  • Should have Sound Knowledge of Customs Tariff, Customs Procedures, and import Process.
  • Understanding of Custom Duty Process.
  • Previous International Logistics Experience is Preferable.
  • Should have Proficiency in English Language.
  • Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
  • Graduation in Any Discipline.
